COVID testing availability on Sundays

Hi Everyone,
My daughter will be flying back from London to the U.S. on a Monday and I was wondering whether any of you knew if it was easy to get a COVID test on a Sunday. I really don't have a sense of whether pharmacies are usually open then. If it's difficult to find and open pharmacy to get a test, we may have her stay overnight in a hotel and change her return flight to Tuesday so that she tests on a Monday.

We have used home proctored tests before but I just want to make sure there is a back up plan to test at a pharmacy in case anything goes wrong.

Thanks in advance for any information you can provide!

Forgot to add that I assume both Gatwick and Heathrow have COVID testing sites located in one of their terminals? If someone could confirm this that would be greatly appreciated.

I’m planning on getting an appointment at a Boots pharmacy. If I can’t get one my fallback is for this place at St Pancras.

I’m flying on Virgin Atlantic. Their website has options for testing and discount codes. It would bring the cost of the Collinson test down to £32.

I did my test at the Collinson walk-in clinic at St Pancras on a Sunday. I was in and out with no problems and had results by email within 25 minutes.

There are testing centers at the airport terminals run by ExpressTest. It also has walk-up centers throughout London, such as Paddington and Victoria Stations. Tests are conducted on Sundays.

are results from a home Covid test kit acceptable or do you need to go to a pharmacy or other testing center?
