Covid testing at Heathrow airport for re-entrance into the United States

I will be on an overnight layover at Heathrow Airport with my family in mid June, on our way back to the United States from our European travels. I know that we will all need to get a covid test before boarding the plane, and I wanted some advice as to the best way to do this. We will not have a car and are spending the night near Covent Gardens during this layover, so I think that getting tested at the Heathrow airport would be the best option. There are 6 of us in our family, so I was hoping I could find a site at the airport that did Rapid Antigen testing - with results available at least within the hour. However, I can't seem to find one at the airport on the website that offers this particular test. I am also open to getting a Lateral Flow test (I think that is what the at home tests are called), and we are all certainly willing to do this under the proper supervision. Would this be the easiest solution, or does anyone have any other suggestions. I am open to anything - as long as I can get these results in time for all of our family to board our plane. Thank you for any thoughts - especially from someone who has recently faced this same issue.

We were on the Heart of Belgium and Holland tour that finished mid April. Before we left, I purchased Binax Now Covid Tests from Emed. They come 6 to a package. They are proctored, so you have someone watching you take the test and then look at the results. These are accepted by the airlines. (The plain tests that you buy in the drugstore aren’t accepted by the airlines.) This was very easy to use and much less expensive than the Covid testing site that was near our hotel in Amsterdam. We watched a YouTube video ahead of time that shows how the test works. Make sure you download the Navica app and DON’T open the package until you are ready to test. I would bring some additional tests in case you lose your Wi-Fi connection which invalidates your test. They email the test results in about 15 minutes. We took our tests the day before our flight. My husband and I both had a negative test. Thank goodness.
