My wife and I are looking for a one-day tour to the Cotswolds from Oxford. Hoping to hear if any of you have had good experiences with certain tour groups. We are 50 years old, in good shape, and our first visit to Oxford and the Cotswolds. Early July. We will not be renting a car, so a tour is the plan. Thank you!
I used Go Cotswolds in 2019 and I’d recommend them for a day trip from Oxford. It is easy. You take the train from Oxford to Moreton-in-Marsh where the pick you up.

I took the same tour a year or two before Laura, and I was also happy with it.
Not very impressed with this tour.
Stunning panoramic views and an introduction to the Cotswolds at Dover’s Hill.
Free time, so you can explore our recommendations in the historic towns of Chipping Campden and Stow-on-the-Wold.
Discover the picture-perfect villages of Bibury, Bourton-on-the-Water, and our ‘secret’ Cotswolds village, which many people agree is the highlight of the tour!
First, it calls for doing stuff on your own. You can do that on your own without paying someone else, just rent a car for the day.
Second, it leaves out key Cotswolds towns and cities like Broadway, Cirencester, etc.

We used Genny at Tour Gems and loved it. She’s a local woman and limits her tours to 8 people. I booked with her as a family of 3 and no one else booked for that day so we had a private tour. We met her at the Moreton-in-Marsh train station but she sounds flexible with pick up spots.
