Cotswolds Questions: various & sundry

First, a question about bicycle rentals in our self-catering base Chipping Campden.
Apparently, the Volunteer Inn no longer rents bikes--do you know of anywhere else in Chipping Campden that still rents them now?

Delis: do you have a preference between Maylams or Tokes in Chipping Campden? Have you ever shopped at the Broadway deli or the one in Moreton-in-Marsh, and again, does either stand out based on your experience?
Farmers Markets: Of the following 3 weekly markets, do you have a favourite?  Stroud, Evesham or Moreton-in-Marsh?

Lastly, has anyone any experience of going on a Tuk Tuk Tour in the Cotswolds?  One such company in Moreton-in-Marsh offers set or custom itineraries.

I've never needed the market in Stroud or Evesham. The one in Moreton in Marsh is a standard town market - hats, underwear, electrical bits, tights, socks, what locals need and want.

I'm sorry to see that tuk tuks and all their pollution are in the scenic Cotswolds.

This is the area I grew up in so I have emotional thoughts.

If you find places to rent bikes, be sure to get a good description on what type of cycle and what condition.

My wife and I were avid cyclists until a few years ago. We both had thousand dollar 30 speed road bikes and did lots of long distance biking. I used to average 5000 miles a year on my bike. Did some bike rides across states of 400-500 miles in a week.

Also, we have traveled a lot and in some cases gone on bike tours or rented bikes. A couple of times we were furnished substandard bicycles with rust. ALso, the cycles were old ten speeds.

Just make sure you get good bikes. Of course, if you ride off road, you should get mountain bikes.

We didn't bike in the Cotswolds, but had a rental car. Loved Chipping Campden and the Volunteer Inn.

Thanks both, I appreciate your taking the time to respond. As self-caterers, our only interest in the MIM market would be for food, so the clarification around that town's local deli(s) will determine whether we visit there---of course its an easy bus from CC to MIM.
Btw, our rental is literally kitty-corner to the Volunteer Inn.
Will soon email my old high school classmate for further clarification. She now lives in Cheltenham with her new husband.

We just got an advance copy of QE2's Chipping Campden itinerary for this spring's Jubilee celebrations in the Cotswolds:

1) greet Mayor
2) receive bouquets from young girls
3) visit orphanage
4) give awards to Morris Dancers
5) light ceremonial torch for the local 'Olimpiks' fest
6) trade Hendrix bootleg videos with quirky Canadian visitor couple (*she is apparently demanding a copy of the amazing new digital upgrade of 'Machine Gun' from the Fillmore)
7) make speech
8) avoid questions from press about Andrew
9) retire to comb Corgis privately, without interruption

(we hear a knock on the hotel room door; it is not being answered)
Out in the hall there, an aide blows out his cheeks then slowly opens the door.

Aide (nervously) "M-maam. I have s-some importa..."
QE2: (annoyed yet restrained in her interruption of his interruption): "Mr. Jenkins, I thought that I'd made it clear....no interruptions. Did I not?"
Aide: "Yes of c-course maam. But General Fitzroy insisted that we...you see, its the Ukrai..."
QE2: (interrupts again, waves him off, a silent 'be gone')
Corgi: (supportive of The Queen): "Arff! (off)."
