Our itinerary will likely have us exploring the Cotswolds by car on Saturday and Sunday in June. Should we have any concerns about things be closed during the weekend if these are the only two days, we spend there?

Absolutely not! Everything will be open. The weekend will be the busiest time for pubs and tourist sites so make sure to book in advance at anywhere you want to eat.

Churches will have services on Sundays, as will cathedrals. Likely not open for tourists until the afternoon.
Shops will have Sunday trading hours unless they are very small. Count on 10 to 4 or 11 to 5.
Everything else will be open. Weekends are when locals aren't at work - mostly - so places will be busier, in some cases much busier than during the week.
