I’m planning on walking the Stow on the Wold to Bourton on the Water hike and am trying to see if I can book The Robin to take us from Chipping Camden to near the start point of the trailhead at Stow on the Wold. The Robin’s website gives a drop down box with several options for where the bus stops. When you book the service, can you just let the driver know where you want to disembark? Or when you make the online reservation do you need to be specific? If so, which location would be the best to ask for? I can start booking tomorrow. Thanks to anyone who has used this method of transportation and knows anything about my enquiries.

I think I found that the stop closest to the trailhead would be Market Square at the Corner of Church Street. Is this correct? If I booked a return trip in the afternoon from Bourton on the Water back to Chipping Campden, is there any stop that would be more convenient for us to put in our reservation? There are over 30 listed. I was thinking the one listed as Edinburgh Wool Shop might be convenient after we’ve browsed around and had a meal, etc, before going back.

Library/Market Square good for Stowe.
Edinburgh Wool Shop or The War Memorial good for Bourton.
You usually have to name the pick-up and drop-off points when booking.

Thanks gundersen. I booked earlier today and selected the War Memorial High Street for a pickup in Bourton. Think that will work? We are planning on poking around Bourton so should have plenty of time to find it.

Yes, that works. Don't know how much time you've allotted for the day but I'd have lunch at the country inn in Lower Slaughter.
