Any recommendations for favorite day or half-day hikes in the Cotswolds? Thanks - Alan from DC

A six mile hike that's beautiful starts in Chipping Campden and ends in Broadway. Beautiful views that you would never see unless you hike this part of the Cotswold Way National Trail. Other sections of the trail also has beautiful views. I would suggest getting a book about the Cotswold Way National Trail and see which section looks the most interesting to you.

Upper Slaughter to Lower Slaughter. There is a trail, Wardens Way, between the two. It's a short hike rewarded by charming hamlets at both ends. Look for the signs, though not easy to find.

I quite enjoy the walk from Chipping Campden to Morten in Marsh. It is a lovely walk, almost 8 miles, that will pass through the village of Blockley. This is the location used to film the Father Brown series.

We used Andrew Guppy, Cotswold Walks, last summer. He planned our eight nights in the Cotswolds.

Thank you all. We ended up doing a wonderful loop hike from Chipping Campden that climbed to some gorgeous vistas and through fields of sheep.
