I would appreciate lunch\dinner recommendations near Stow on Wold, Chipping Campden and Broadway. We are celebrating our 45th anniversary.
Don’t know where you are staying, but FWIW we adore the Plough Inn in Kelmscott, which is about 20 miles south of Stow-on-the-Wold. They do delicious, elevated pub fare with super fresh local produce, and it’s just a quaint, beautifully classy place in a 17th century building. Gorgeous.
We have only eaten here, not stayed the night, but they do have rooms, which local friends have highly recommended. (Double Gloucester cheese souffle… OMG! And a trout fillet with cabbage and potatoes that sounds simple and boring but was delightful! And their cottage pie is yummy.)
