Cornwall's southern coast villages and hikes

Howdy. We'll be spending a June week near Port Quin and want to plan a couple of day trips to Cornwall's southern coast, of which we've seen little. Can anyone suggest any villages or easy to moderate coastal hikes they especially like?
We'll be driving. This will be our third June visit to Cornwall and we know about its narrow roads and its spectacular South West Coast Path. We're looking for towns or hikes no more than an hour or so from Port Quin.
One friend has suggested Fowey. Anyone have thoughts on that or other spots to consider? We're willing to deal with tourist hordes as long as the payoff (striking views, interesting villages, terrific ice cream) seems worthwhile.
Thanks! Alan from Arlington VA

I suggest you get the iWalk Cornwall app. You can then search for and buy walks with GPS directions

Fowey is fab but you should also visit Polperro and Looe on the south coast.
