A year ago there was a query about rail connections at Watford Junction from the St Albans Abbey branch line.
That thread is now closed, so this is an update, as it is no longer the case that the only access to Platform 11, for the Abbey branch is by steps.
There is a level access now around the side of Platform 10 to the lifts on Platforms 9 and 10 to access all other platforms.
I used that route today when connecting to Euston from St Albans.
As it happens I had a choice of a 7 minute connection to a one stop service from Platform 9 or an 8 minute connection to a non stop service from Platform 7, so chose the latter.
