I am getting ready to purchase train tickets for our trip to England in June. I had planned on purchasing the Family & Friends railcard to get a discount on the ticket price. However, you must have a UK address to get the railcard. I assume I have to have the railcard before I can use the discount for the tickets. Am I just out of luck with using a railcard for these tickets?
you can buy the tickets online indicating you have the railcard, then simply purchase the railcard at a station before you travel
Thanks! It wasn't clear on the site that you could book before you had the railcard.
The only indication on the website is the absence of any place to enter a Railcard number or other confirmation that you have one already.
