Confused about Houses of Parliament Tour Times

Greetings,
I'm trying to figure out when our group (4 people) can tour the Houses of Parliament in London. I see where every Saturday is available for English language tours (90 min) and can be reserved online. I'm confused about what weekday hours are available? Are there no guided tours when Parliament is in session? I've had a difficult time trying to figure out if they are in recess for our dates. We'll be in London May 18-19 (Sat - Sun) , and June 4-7 (Wed-Fri). We Fly in to Heathrow at noon Saturday the 18th. The last guided your is 4:15.
Also, Do I need to worry about a guided tour, or should we just do the audio tour at our own pace. I really want to see the inside of House of Commons if at all possible.

Thanks

You can only get guided tours on Saturdays and when Parliament is not In session Brits can arrange for a tour via their MP but that's of no use to you). Recess broadly follows the school holidays so I imagine it will be sitting on the dates you are here unfortunately so try and book for Saturday 18th

There is usually a two week recess at the end of May, but this is likely to be 23 May - 3 June, ie in-between your two spells in London.
