Combo tour company recs

I’m interested in a combo tour outside London, i.e. Stonehenge/Windsor/Bath tour, etc. Can someone please give me recommendations on a good and reliable tour company? Thanks!

This is not actually an answer to your question but....I’d not recommend doing one of the tours that includes all three of those locations.

To me Windsor Castle (not including the town area) is at least 1/2 to 3/4 of a day, Stonehenge is at least 1/2 a day as is Salisbury. Bath is at least a full day just to see a few of the main sights (Roman Baths, Pump Room, Royal Crescent, museum at #1 Royal Crescent, Fashion Museum, walk the streets with the Georgian buildings, see Pulteney Bridge and the weir on the Avon River to name a few).

The tours that are doing all 3 are spending more time on the road than at the sights.

I agree. Those three areas are too much for one day. If you're just looking to check things off your list, that's fine. But if you really want to see them, give them more time.

Evan Evans and Golden Tours are two of the largest tour companies doing day trips out of London. I have never traveled with them but they wouldn't be in business if they did a bad job.

@ Pam, I appreciate your suggestions. I know it’s not ideal to see the sights that way but I don’t have a lot of time to spend in England. Hopefully, there will be a next time where I can really explore the area thoroughly. But for now, I’ll be happy to see them however briefly.

@ Frank II, Thanks for the tour company names. I’ll check them out.

I booked through Viator--yes, yes, it's a consolidator for other tour companies but it worked for me--and did a trip from London that included Windsor (castle ticket included, with plenty of time to tour the castle & grounds, explore the little town and find lunch), then Oxford (not nearly as much time as I would have liked, definitely plan a return) and finally Stonehenge, maybe had an hour there and my least favorite of the 3.

It was my first trip to London--first solo trip, too--so it was easier for me to just be carted about on a bus than try to go to each place on my own, which I now know I am perfectly capable of. Sometimes your time and energy needs are better met by being taken on a bus tour.

I agree with Christa-I have appreciated Rabbies and Mad Max's day tours-but they don't do the tours you're looking for.

I also agree with Pam-those 3 are too much for one day. I think Bath deserves a full day and Windsor a half day.
