Hello! Does anyone know where to find classic children's books, like "Five Children and It" and other books from Edith Nesbit, with the original black and white illustrations? I'm not finding anything good online including Amazon. I've also checked the websites of a few bookshops in England and I'm only seeing new editions with new illustrations. Thanks!

Hay on Wye is known as a book town as it has many second hand book shops. Try a google search using Hay on Wye and children's books and then email or call them to see if they have what you are looking for.

I'd also look at Barter Books. Great bookstore and where the original "Keep Calm and Carry On" poster was first sold.

Another thought - Foyles. They are based on Charring Cross Road in London. They sell new books, but also have an extensive collection of rare second hand books.
