Christmas Dinner 2017 (Mayfair area) + What to do on Christmas Day & Boxing Day

Hoping to get recommendations for Christmas Dinner 2017. We are staying in the Mayfair area. I'm assuming since transpo is not available on Christmas Day, we'll need to go somewhere within walking distance. Would love any suggestions.

Also - would love suggestions for things to do on Christmas Day and Boxing Day since transpo and attractions are limited.

Thank you!!

Hello Emma! We will be staying just south of Grosvenor Square - Adams Row. We'd be willing to walk approx. 20 minutes-ish and hoping to enjoy a traditional British Christmas meal.

So good to know that there will be some transpo on Boxing Day!!

Christmas Day, attend one of many Christmas services in London and experience beautiful and sublime music. On Boxing Day, go ice skating, go to a play or musical (or the Nutcracker ballet), or Kew Gardens. After Christmas sales begin on Boxing Day too.

We stayed on Adam's Row last month! The Audley is around the corner on Audley Street and is a very nice pub. They did a traditional Sunday Roast and were advertising Christmas Dinner. Also around the corner on Mount Street is Scott's, very much fine dining. I have no idea if they are serving on Christmas. Many hotels nearby will serve. no doubt.

As to what to do... a movie is an option. (We saw a Star Wars movie two years ago on Christmas at the Odeon Marble Arch, very near to you.) Take a nice walk through St. James' Park, Green Park, or Hyde Park.

Golden Tours has some lovely tours on Christmas Day which includes a traditional Christmas lunch. They do hotel pick up.
