On Christmas Day 2026 in the afternoon, I want to go from King's Lynn to Cambridge.
I understand there won't be any trains or buses running. I looked up the taxi fare, and I'm prepared to pay what amounts to the equivalent of a night's hotel stay to make this journey using a regular taxi through a site like lynntaxis.com or kingslynntaxis.co.uk; or a car service like Uber, Bolt, Ola, or Free Now.
However, I'm concerned about availability on Christmas. I realize I could ask each of these services individually, but before I spend time doing that, does anyone know if taxis and car services typically run on Christmas?
