Chichester Accomodation

Hi

We are planning to stay one night in Chichester to go to Fishbourne. I am looking for any recommendations as to where to stay. Curious if there is any other area that would be interesting to stay .

Thank you!

I stayed at the Citiroom in October for 4 nights and it was lovely. It was about a 15 minute walk from the train station and close to lots of restaurants.

I took the bus to Fishbourne which I picked up at a stop near the Cathedral.

I ate at several good restaurants there (The Ivy, The Giggling Squid, Thyme and Chillies, and Reina Kitchen). My favorite of these was Reina Kitchen (Turkish).

If you enjoy theatre, check to see if there is anything on at the Chichester Festival Theatre.

There are some more recommendations in response to this question I posted before my trip

We ate at The Ivy last Sept and loved it. Best scallops, best NY steak i’ve ever had.

I use Booking.com to find places to stay. Reviews can’t be faked, unlike other websites. We stayed with friends so i can’t recommend a hotel.

I highly recommend visiting Bosham nearby. Charming village on the water.
Harold, who’s featured in the Bayeux Tapestry, grew up in Bosham.
