We'll be staying in London for two days before and four days after a South African safari trip in May/June. This is our first time in London.
We have reservations at the Premier Inn Waterloo, but we are also considering the Cherry Court Hotel. Any thoughts?
We planned on doing the Hop On Hop Off bus, but we hear it is difficult now with the traffic there. We will likely be walking for much of our time.
I welcome any suggestions for first time travelers.

I have not stayed at The Cherry Court Hotel. I have stayed at Premier Inn Waterloo and loved it. The location is so convenient to walking to Westminster or along the South Bank. There are multiple transportation options just a few blocks away at Waterloo Station. I felt extremely safe as a solo traveler and appreciated the convenience of a grocery and restaurants nearby.

Prior to the arrival of the Premier Inn chain in London BnB’s were highly thought of and used. The Patel family who own the hotel were highly recommended hosts.
Use the search on this Forum and you’ll see what I mean.
I’ve stayed in Premier Inns. They’re fine.
Over decades I’ve always found walking a wonderful
way to explore London.
