Cherry Court Hotel- London

Has anyone stayed at the Cherry Court Hotel in London recently? This is the hotel with the compact rooms run by the Patel family. Considering a stay there in September

Sorry not recently... but I will say this place has some great reviews recently. We stayed as a family of 4 a few years ago. Great location. Rooms were small but clean. Price was also good. I would stay there again. Hope that is helpful.

No recent but I stayed at Cherry Court Hotel in 2022. I had no complaints but I knew what to expect when I booked.
Walk-up (no elevator). Booked a double room for just me and requested a room on the first floor. My friend stayed in a single room on the third floor. Rooms and bathrooms are tiny but adequate. Rooms are quiet but there was a little street noise since my room was in the front of the building. It wasn't loud enough to keep me awake, sounded like suitcases being dragged on the walkway. Breakfast is a fruit and breakfast bar basket, hot pot in the room for tea or instant coffee.
The Patels are very nice and were accommodating. The hotel is a 1/4 mile walk from Victoria Station. There's a pub on the corner at the end of the block if you don't want to hunt for a meal.

Yes, we've stayed there. Not recommended. Listen, I get that lodgings are expensive in London, and I too love small, independent, family-owned places. I don't mind small rooms, or shared toilets down the hall. But among the dozens of places like this in London, Cherry Court's rooms are PARTICULARLY SMALL. Also, their cold breakfast of a banana, juice box and wrapped muffin in the room is nice, but their competitors offer a cooked breakfast.

Other places in this same market niche that I can recommend higher include: Celtic Hotel, Morgan Hotel, and Ridgemount Hotel in Bloomsbury; Delmere Hotel in Paddington. There are many others I have not been to that others recommend in this forum.

We also had a very nice stay at a Hub by Premier Inn. These are also very small rooms, but extremely well thought out, and in prime locations around London.
