Change in Bodleian Library Tours starting Sept. 1

For anyone who is looking into booking the 90 minute Bodleian Library Tour at Oxford for there has been a bit of a change. Starting September 1, the original tour plan will now be two tours combined, The Radcliffe Camera and City of Oxford Walking Tour. It’s now a two hour tour. The tickets still go on sale a month before, however, there is a note on the website saying from Sat 15 Aug the library tours will be released online on the 1st and 15th of each month at 9 am. Tickets for 1-14 Sept will be released online on 15 Aug, tickets for 15-30 Sept will be released on 1 Sept.

This excerpt is copied/pasted from their website about the reason for the change:

From Tuesday 1 September, the 90-minute library guided tour will be replaced by two Radcliffe Camera and City of Oxford Walking Tours. By focusing on a route that we can deliver consistently, we will be able to offer access to the Radcliffe Camera every weekend, making it easier for visitors to plan and book with confidence.
