My husband and I both have iphones with Sprint service. There are certain areas in California that Sprint doesn't work as well so I'm wondering since we have decided to get international service on our iphone while traveling will we have problems with cell phone reception? Just wondering if anyone else has encountered problems (we'd prefer not getting another phone for the trip). Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Sprint service is delivered by Vodaphone/02 in the UK,should have no troubles 98% of populaton covered
I saw no issues with coverage, even many places in the "tube" both cell and wi-fi was available.
Speaking of wireless, be aware of what your Data costs may be. Voice generally you can get a good roaming plan from the US, Data less so. If your plan does not cover data, then shut off data on your phone or you may run huge charges. Fortunately though, Wi-Fi is widely available at just about any Pub or business as well as on the street.
We had good cell service on iphone & samsung galaxy while in London, Salisbury & Bath. Lot's of free Wi-Fi.
