I have heard that using a cell (mobile) phone while driving is banned in Great Briton and I would never dream of making or taking a call while driving in unfamiliar circumstance. However, we are planning on purchasing a SIM card and using our cell for many purposes including our sat nav. My question: Is it acceptable under British law to use one of those suction cup devices to mount a cell to the dash or windscreen so that the driver may more easily follow the route?
Thanks
