Carter's Steam Fair is a traveling amusement park around the London suburbs and SE England. Colorful old Britannia rides, exhibits and attractions. Being a music fan, the favorite part of the fair is the Rock And Roll Dodgems (bumper cars in the US) The cars and structure are decorated with names and/or images of R&B and R&R stars with their music on the sound system. It's true: Michael Jackson tried to buy this ride for 1 mil pounds. I've been to the fair twice. Never rode the rides. Just watching and listening was enough excitement. The fair will be at Bel-Air Park Dulwich for 2 June weekends.(where I first saw the fair). Dulwich also has a small but excellent art museum. Easy train ride from Victoria.
