Looking for car service recommendations to Cornwall from Heathrow.
No doubt that someone would do it but I fear that the main companies might struggle as it would be further than a driver could drive without an overnight stay to get back. Either way it will be a huge amount of money and unlikely to be much quicker than the train.
I agree. I think you would be much better off to get the train. Although the distances don't look that far, roads in Cornwall are slow. The driver would need an overnight stay, I think. This would push the cost up.
I have to agree with the others. It's 270 miles from Heathrow to Penzance. (You didn't say where you were going in Cornwall so I used Penzance as a possible destination.) That's just over 5 hours driving tme--on a good day.
That being said, I did a Google search and found there are car services that will do the transfer. Prices hovering around 500 GBP. (I only looked at a couple of services and the prices were similar. You might find one a little cheaper.)
