My husband and I will be flying out of Heathrow to NYC in early October, after docking from a cruise in Southampton.. If anyone can recommend a reputable and reasonable car service from the port to the airport, I would greatly appreciate the information.

Alternatively, National Express runs a bus from Southampton to Heathrow several times a day.

Sometimes people enjoy a splurge. I hope you enjoy yours. I’m planning on National Express bus in July since I have already spent my splurges this year. Lots of buses, flexible timing, and since I travel solo, reasonable price.

We are planning on using the Blackberry car service in June from our hotel in London Soho area to Southampton port and then post cruise up to LHR. Saw many recommendations for them. Responses from them were very quick. For two couples, the price seems quite reasonable. We shall see….
On the flip-side, depending on your cruise line, they (we are sailing Celebrity) offer transportation service between airport/cruise terminal & vice versa. This was a bit more $ than Blackberry. Ultimately, we wound up going with BlackBerry since they do not pick up at hotels and we are staying in London a couple nights before our cruise.
