The usual recommendation I've seen is www.justairports.com. They seem to get good feedback, but I've never used a car service to Heathrow so can't give any personal experience.

We have used

several times for airport transfers to and from Heathrow and to Cambridge.

I would highly recommend Just Airports. We used them last June to go from Knightsbridge to Heathrow.
It's a little difficult to give an estimate without knowing How many people? What date? What time? Are you paying cash or will you use a credit card?

We DO NOT recommend you use "Twelve Transfers". We have used Blacklane cars in other countries and been very happy with them.

A second vote for Blacklane! You can get a quote online. They charge your credit card at the time of travel... no need to have fare for the driver. Just used Blacklane last month from Rome to Civitavecchia.
