Car service from Heathrow to Canterbury.

Hello, does anyone have a good recommendation for a car service from Heathrow to Canterbury as we do not wish to go by train after a long flight.

I have only used Welcome Pickups abroad, but they do operate in the UK.
There were very reliable, clean modern cars, friendly helpful drivers.

Try googling something like “airport taxi Heathrow to Canterbury “ and then emailing a few of the taxi companies for a quote.

If you find one or two that look good you can see reviews on the Trust A Trader website

The name of the service we used was Canterbury Airport Transfers. The web site (if my notes are correct) was taxicanterbury.co.uk/contact. The email was [email protected]. Shoot them an email, outline you needs, and see what you think.

We had a driver who drove safely, was helpful loading luggage, and commented on various things along the way. The car was clean, roomy, and well maintained. We would not hesitate to use the same service again. We've found that using a service based at the destination works best as they seem to know the best routes to take.

Another vote for Canterbury Airport Transfers. Run by the Sheldon Fagg family - locally owned, great people. I texted him a photo of us when we landed at Heathrow, and he quickly found us in arrivals, helped with bags as we walked to the parking garage, and delivered us right to the door of our hotel. I agree, this is a much better way to begin your time in England then if you had to navigate tube + train + walk to hotel while jet lagged. There were three of us and the charge for the car was not much more than our transit costs would have been.

Thanks to everyone for their feedback! We have contacted Canterbury Airport Transfers and have booked with them. They were quick to respond and very reasonable!
