Both these offices, which I have suggested a number of times for people arriving in Cornwall by train (especially the sleeper) have now closed permanently, presumably for lack of demand. Truro were great staff, a real shame.
I am in both places this morning, so this is first hand reporting.

Thanks for the information. I have a reservation for July at the Truro station. I haven't received any notification. Any other options in Cornwall? Thank you.

At Penzance there are other rental agencies at the Long Rock Industrial Estate- a quick two mile or so taxi ride from the train station.
The only other places I personally know of are at Newquay airport and Enterprise at Bodmin (they should pick you up at Bodmin Parkway station) though I would have thought there are others.
I've just googled and Enterprise are also on an industrial estate on the southern edge of Truro.
Apart from that you are probably looking just across the Tamar Bridge at Plymouth in Devon.
I don't know when Truro closed, it's about 9 months since I was there - but they should have told you. You wouldn't know there had ever been an office at Truro station.
