Is it possible to stay in a hotel or Band B for $150 or less? We are seniors. Comfort and cleanliness are important also not a lot of stairs. If anyone knows how to find such a place in Cambridge we would love to hear about it.

Rick only lists two accommodations in Cambridge because he thinks of it more as a daytrip from London. This one has some standard doubles at 114 pounds: http://www.lensfieldhotel.co.uk/accommodation/. I'm confident that www.booking.com could turn up something a little cheaper. The Travelodge chain also has a location in Cambridge.

Premier Inns has a Cambridge location just off the A14 at Junction 32 . Very convenient if you are driving . Leave the car in the car park and take the local bus into town ( 10 to 15 minutes ) .
