While checking train fares and times from Kings Cross to Edinburgh departing KC on October 11, 2016, I was able to make a reservation. But the calendar for return reservation a week later will not allow me to see beyond July. Can someone offer an explanation? A message popped up saying I could secure reservations 24 weeks out.

I am trying to ticket from Edinburgh to Newcastle on October 18 and Newcastle to Kings Cross on October 20. The calendar will allow me to ticket round trip Kings Cross-Edinburgh-Kings Cross but not Edinburgh-Newcastle and Newcastle-Kings Cross.

If your travel plans are
11 Oct Kings Cross to Edinburgh
18 Oct Edinburgh to Newcastle
20 Oct Newcastle to Kings Cross
then these should be booked as three separate one-way Advance tickets and the calendar will work.
