Hello,
My husband and I are only spending a day and a half in london. With that said, we are going to the tower of London. I have the coupon for 1/2 off admission with a roundtrip train ticket, but will the lines be too long and a terrible wait in July? Should I just spend the money and buy online? Thoughts, experiences please!

In regards to the lines, go first thing in the morning. Early. At least a half-hour before opening. Walk down (literally) the slope towards the entrance. Purchase a ticket inside the gift shop. Don't wait for the multiple ticket booths to open. With ticket in hand, go stand in line at the entrance. Once the gates open, go directly to the crown jewels room. (This is a gem from RS' book!)
