I have been PM'd tonight with a query regarding the Bus Bud website.
This is yet another of those pointless third party websites, just waiting to scam you.
Two examples- it is selling tickets for the Yorkshire Coastliner bus service from York to the Yorkshire Coast- just a normal city bus where you pay on the day, presently the £2 fare cap. It is purporting to sell tickets ahead of time for higher than the £2 price, then adding on a £1.90 transaction fee. - more than doubling the walk up price, with no added benefit.
2nd example- I looked up a National Express bus fare. Bus Bud wants to charge you £4 more than Nat Ex for the identical journey, then add on a transaction fee higher than that charged by Nat Ex (and you can avoid their fee by signing up to a free account). The overall effect was to add on 25% to the National Express fare.
There is a word for such actions- which starts with the letter F, and ends with 'aud'.
