So we have decided to just stop in London before our cruise leaves out of Barcelona. We will be there 3 days and because we are squeezing it in, we need budget accommodations. We are willing to even stay outside London, such as Croydon, or another suburb if we can find somewhere with EASY access to London daily. Any suggestions, or if you know of something in London!? Thank you!

Its my husband and I with our 4 children (ages 7-16). This isnt our first time to London, just a stop to one our favorite places. I would like to pay $300/nt or less.

They are well recommended, we found them to be very good, you of course would need at least 2 rooms, but they could put you next to each other. Breakfast is an added item there, so one reason their prices are lower.
They are located in Hammersmith, a couple blocks from the station, you can get there directly from LHR on the Piccadilly Line, the station is also on the District, Hammersmith and City, and the Circle line so easy transport to nearly anywhere.
There is also a Holiday Inn Express and a Premier hotel nearby.
