Does Rick Steves offer Flex BritRail passes? I only see continuous passes.
Jim, you may have missed the reply to the same question that you posted yesterday here: britrail question
Note that the Rick Steves link takes you to RailEurope who actually sells the passes. They are an independent company.
If you say where you are planning on going, people will come back and say whether or not it is good value for money. (Britrail Passes are rather expensive).

Or, perhaps the OP has already made that determination for himself, and doesn't need our opinions.
Suz - I don't think you get it. The OP might well have already made up his/her mind where they are going. It just is that due to the odd way in which fares are levied in Britain, some of the experts who frequent this forum know of ways in which ticket prices can be reduced for certain journeys. For example, it would be plain stupid for the OP to use a day of Britrail when the journey would be cheaper to buy. Some of the people on here are British and know the system better than most foreigners. They have also driven in more areas than most foreigners.
