Hello, we are 2 couples traveling in July . Our first city is London and we have some free time (1 -1/2 day ) on our own . Any recommendations/ suggestions are appreciated .

You mention free time on your own, that implies that you're on some kind of tour. If so, what sights in London will be included on the tour. It's hard to know what to suggest without knowing more specifics. What types of sights do you want to see? Museums, monuments, scenic places, historic places, architecture, gardens, etc?
