Brit Rail Pass - Can I get on any train any time of day?

Can I get on any train (any time of day) with a Brit Rail Pass? We are leaving London and need to get to Liverpool by 11am. I know some trains are more expensive than others, so I was curious if we are limited to a certain time of the day. Also, can we book seats in advance on the Brit Rail Pass? Thank you so much for your help!!

Yes, you can take any regularly scheduled daytime train with any of the larger BritRail passes. Only Scotland-specific passes have a time-of-day restriction. You can get optional, free seat reservations up to about 24 hours ahead at train stations, perhaps when you first stop to have the pass activated. If you miss that reservation, you're not out anything. You would pay for required reservations on overnight sleeper trains.

Go on the following website and put in for your journey and the proposed date EUS > LIV and select return as well if returning to London (Euston). (If you put in for more than about 11 weeks in advance, the cheaper advance fares might not have been loaded). You are more likely to fond a lower price for Saturday travel rather than a weekday. Now, are the prices you see less or more than 1 day’s worth of the Britrail Pass?https://www.virgintrains.co.uk
