What's the best way to get to the Brick Lane Music Hall. I'm told it's a bit difficult to find but somewhat expensive to take a cab because of it's distance from central London. Could we take the tube for the for the majority of the way and hail a cab for the remainder? Where can one find a cab in east London? We will have special cell phones for UK. Is there a number to call for a cab?
It may be difficult to find because it is nowhere near Brick Lane (it moved)!
According to its own website: http://www.bricklanemusichall.co.uk/news/how-to-find-us
"Public transport: .... Brick Lane Music Hall is a five minute walk from Pontoon Dock DLR"
That's easy then, DLR to Pontoon Dock (square D8 on the tube map), then walk.

For the uninitiated Pontoon Dock is in the far reaches of nowhere, really past the far East End. It is one stop before London City Airport, and that's really in the middle of nowhere.
It is in Zone 3.
A cab from the West End wouldn't be cheap.
Getting one back may be the case of pre-booking a minicab, or using Hailo.
DON'T - EVER - get into a minicab which is not prebooked. EVER.
