I checked for the dates in September I will be in Oxford and there are no prebooked tickets available. I can't find if they sometimes have walk up tickets. Has anyone during the past year been able to get a ticket without having to prebook online?

Did you see this page for closures that affect the Bodliean being open? Some dates have this wording “The library will be open for select tours to purchase on site”.

Thanks, Mona. I checked that and looks like my best date is still OK. I would still like to hear from someone who has had experience with walk up tickets.

I also posted this on Rick's Facebook page and was told they were able to receive walk up tickets a couple months ago. Hope this is correct. I will post after I try it to let anyone else interested whether it works.
