Boat cruises from London to Greenwich in November?

We will be in London from November 7-17 and was wondering if there are still boat tours at that time?

We were thinking that taking a boat out to Greenwich and back my be a fun day.

Or maybe just a Thames cruise one day.

Is this possible in November? What companies would be good?

Any suggestions welcomed.

Just be aware that in November the wind on the Thames can sometimes be biting. I would judge what to do based on the weather on the day... and the days will be getting quite short so that on a grey day (most of them unfortunately here at that time of year) you will often find lights going on around 3.30 in the afternoon.

As we head into winter you will see that we usually get either clear days which are cold or wet days which are a bit warmer. You don't usually see cold and wet nor warm(er) and clear.

My wife and I took that cruise on our first trip to London and enjoyed it immensely. It helped that we had "good" weather for June, which still meant chilling winds and spitting rain. On our second trip, we took the cruise up to Kew Gardens in what turned out to be all but a Nor'easter on the Thames. You definitely will want to check the forecast several days ahead and bundle up, as it is always chillier on the water. Also do not miss the Meantime Pub and Restaurant, which is adjacent to where the boats dock and depart in Greenwich.

Just to clarify, the Thames Clippers are mostly enclosed, like giant waterborne buses. So in bad weather you don't have to be outside. Sunshine is nicer than rain and wind, but the trip to Greenwich is still worthwhile on the river.

Sounds great. We are going to be in London from November 7-19 and hope that our strong Canadian Blood will keep us warm.

I am usually ok if it 10 celcius out but hoping for the best.

thank you all for the advice
