We're staying 2 nights in the Cotswalds, I've found a place in Cirencester and a place in Blockley that look like good spots to stay. Which of these locations would be better for a quick visit?
To me, Cirencester is a town while Blockley is more a village. Blockley is closer to the more popular Cotswold villages. If you make it there and are a fan of the UK series Father Brown, St. Peter's & St Paul's Church is frequently seen in the series.
I'd stay in the one most convenient to what I wanted to see, Roman Villa or Folly or garden or rural walk.
If they are both equally appealing go with the type of town or village most appeals.
