Bletchley Park & Strike

Hi,

Our itinerary is Bletchley Park this Sunday (May 24). We stopped by a ticket counter tonight at Euston to go ahead and get our tickets (for the 2-for-1 deal). However, we were told by the agent that there are no trains running to Bletchley Park due to a strike. He could not give us any other suggestions, so I'm at a loss as to how to salvage our day trip. When I put it in CityMapper for Sunday, it does not mention anything about a route cancellation and shows the route from Westminster to Euston on to Bletchley Park.

If there are any local experts that are in the know about Sunday's strike and getting to Bletchley Park, I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks!

There don’t seem to be any of the fastest trains running on Sunday until lunchtime but there are plenty of trains taking less than an hour.

Johnew52–I’m not sure of the difference. Citymapper is telling me to take the Birmingham New Street at 8:25 am Sunday, getting to Bletchley Park at 9:22 am. Will that train be running? And is there one running back to Euston late day? Thank you!

Yes, the 8.25 is one of the trains I mentioned, taking 57 minutes. There are others roughly every 30 minutes. There are faster trains from lunchtime but I guess that you don’t want to wait that long to set out.

If you look at nationalrail.co.uk you can see all options. You can follow a link from there to buy tickets online but I guess that you want paper tickets for the 2-4-1 offer, which you can get at Euston from the ticket desk or machines, either ahead of time or just before the train.
