We are visiting London for ten days May. We have tentatively decided on taking the train to Bletchley Park on Saturday. After reading past posts about train track repair on weekends is a weekday a better idea? Also is the weekend more crowded?
Since the site tickets are valid for a year I thought I would buy tickets before we came and get train tickets in London after we arrived..Thank you for your attention.

There aren’t always track repairs at the weekend. The only scheduled work that I can see for this line for May is over the two Bank Holiday weekends, the first and last weekends of May.
Track works are undertaken at weekends as there are far fewer people using the service. I would anticipate that Bletchley Park would be busier at the weekend.
