Birthday while in London

We will be in London in Sept with our university age son, traveling from Canada. Husband will be having a mid-50s birthday while we are there. Two years ago on his b'day we were in Munich and did a Mike's bus tour to Neuschwanstein Castle. Which was awesome and memorable. The year before we were on a plane to Ireland. Last year we were packing for Italy. We seem to be making a habit of traveling on/near his birthday.

I am thinking of the "London Walks" trip to Stonehenge. That day is their "Salisbury & Stonehenge Autumn Equinox Season & Flower Festival".

Any other suggestions for a memorable possibly unique but not overly expensive way to celebrate? Besides the fact that we will be in London/UK for the first time. I am thinking about cost of no more than 50-60 pounds each (x3).

I know that's pretty wide open but I am counting on those who know London well to have some ideas. We are always up for quirky, adventurous and fun. We are running a half marathon at Kew Garden the day before but I wanted to do something on that day as well (19th).

Thanks in advance.

A few options come to mind. Pamper him at Murdochs in Liberty department store. U can shop in the gorgeous store and he can get a traditional shave. Murdochs also has stores in Shorditch and SoHo that I'm aware of. Or take a tour of the Houses of Parliment and get the ticket that includes tea service that looks out on the Thames. Speaking of the river there's a month long September festival called Lock'd and its ALL about the Thames. Check the Spittafieds Market website to see if there's a tea dance. Fun to either enjoy or watch. The London Walks Stonehenge tour sounds great as well!!! Have a great time whatever you find to do.

Claudia, Thanks for the great suggestions. I appreciate your time. We aren't going until Sept but I am a planner. Most places we go we will only visit once and I want to make sure I don't have any regrets about missing anything I would have enjoyed. I will be asking a lot of questions until then. :)
