Hi, what is the best way to tour The Cotswolds from Bath on a day trip? Thank you!
We haven't taken this yet but we're booked for May. They're recommended in the forums multiple times. I haven't read a bad word about them.

I agree. I took this tour from Bath in September and thoroughly enjoyed it. They use small vans, so it is a small group. They take you to your destination, tell you a little bit about each and then let you loose for some free time. I think my favorite stop was Lacock Village, but I enjoyed them all.
I also have done that Mad Max tour. It was pre-Covid but it looks like the same itinerary. Very easy and enjoyable. The driver-guides I've had on the Mad Max tours I've done have all been excellent and knowledgeable.
In Stow-on-the-Wold, be sure to walk into the churchyard at St Edwards and look at the North door. There are 2 huge yew trees flanking it and supposedly that gave Tolkien some ideas, lol.
Hire a car and drive.
I've also taken the Mad Max Tour. It eas great and our driver/guide was a part time guide and a full time stone mason. He spent some time explaining how they work on the stone of many old Cotswolds houses.
Thank you everyone! We are convinced :)
