Hello - What is the best way to get from terminal 3 at Heathrow to Windsor? There will be four of us with carryon bags only on a Saturday afternoon.
Is FreeNow ride cheaper than metered taxi? What is quickest and easiest?

By bus.
Use the Search function of this website. Upper left hand corner of the page. Type in Heathrow to Windsor by public transport.

What is “best” to you may mean the fastest way to Windsor or it may mean the least expensive. A bus will take an hour or longer. A taxi will take about 20 minutes, Presuming your luggage will all fit in the boot, a taxi can be taken from the terminal 3 taxi queue. Uber also is available and is usually less costly than a taxi.

Taxi…in May our taxi was £25.00 to go to Windsor.

As stated previously, "Best" is subjective. Best in terms of price? Best in terms of ease?, Best in terms of time?, Best in terms of comfort?
Taxi is easiest. Taxi is door to door. Taxi is fastest.
Bus is cheaper.

Got it. Agree, "best" is vague. I suppose I was looking for various opinions on how to get there. With our limited time, taxi looks like the winner. Thank you

The funeral is this Monday, She will be taken to Windsor after that and laid to rest that day.
