What is the best way to get from Term 1 to Term 2? Is it a long way? I notice that the shuttle bus doesn't stop at Term 2.

You can walk. It is about 10 minutes between T1 and T2.

They are physically connected airside. Follow the signs. Indeed one pier is actually shared between these terminals at the moment. Can't give better advice as you haven't said what your flights are.
