We will be in Bath, Cornwall, and Scotland, and we are looking for a Sim-card for our US Verizon Samsung Galaxy S6. We'll only be there for 15 days, just for a few calls, but would like about 3 Gig of data, AND would like to tether off the phone to our Ipad while on the road. Vodaphone, O2, and Three all said they do NOT offer tethering on their Pay-as-you-go plans. So, has anyone used another company's sim card that has good coverage in these places that allows tethering? Thanks!

Be aware that the signal strengths in Cornwall are very patchy. Some areas will have no signal at all, others will be variable whereas in the major towns they can be quite strong likewise for Scotland.

Have a look at giffgaff,
They have just been voted best mobile provider by Which magazine for 2nd year running I have been with them 6 years.
From memory you can tether all thier monthly "goody bags" except the £20 unlimited data one.
Calls back to US are an add on extra at 3c a min.
They run on O2s infrastructure
