I took this tour in 2019 as a solo traveler. I arrived a day early on a morning flight to London, then caught the train heading to Canterbury but got off in Faversham, a small market town about 15 miles from Canterbury. I enjoyed staying in this village for the night, and exploring the town in the morning. A quick train ride after lunch took me to to Canterbury in time for the meet and greet at our tour hotel. It was a great introduction to southeast England.
