I am on the London tour and maybe this is crazy, but did you and Cyndi do an RS Sicily tour in 2018?

Sorry, no wish we had, it is high on our list. We were in Spain and London then. We will be looking forward to your thought on Sicily. Our son and dau-in- law want to also, they are “my way travelers”.
We land in London on the 14th and taking the London express to Paddington station where we hope to have time for an English lunch. Then taking the 2:00 train to Bath arriving 3:30. We will check in and the look for a nice place for dinner. We would love suggestions. Try to stay active till bed time local time.

Looks like we have an outstanding guide “mark Seymour” who lives in bath. Check out these links

Looking forward to the tour and another RS adventure! I have taken 3 tours with RS and would be happy to share my Sicily experiences with you and Cyndi. See you in September.

Hello again Don and Cyndi,

I was wondering if you had looked at any theatre performances for the free evening on the 12th day of the tour. I am a solo traveler (my husband has no interest in traveling- unfortunately) and as a solo traveler I am always concerned about safety in places I have never been before. I was thinking of either going to "Mousetrap" or "Mamma Mia" or if that didn't work out; I have been looking into going to a Harry Potter themed bar called The Cauldron in West London ( yes I am a huge fan of the Harry Potter series, which I am guessing makes me a bit of an oddity for my age group)...Let me know if any of these items would be of interest to you; if not - no worries!

We have purchased tickets to Lion King that night. Cyndi and I spent a week in London last year plus some short stays in previous years. We did Kinky Boots last year and wandered by foot all the way back through Piccadilly circus to the Green Park underground station. We felt completely safe and even on the underground (subway). Plus buses travel that route all the time. Our hotel this year is about three miles so it would be a longer walk. It is a direct route from Piccadilly. 30 min. by bus.

You are welcome to join us if you can find tickets or we will share what we know over those two weeks.
PM me if I can be assistance.
