Best markets in London in August?

Can anyone recommend some good markets to visit in London in August? Something with a bit of everything - food, handmade items, vintage clothes/items, etc. Thanks!

I love the Portobello Road market--on Saturdays it's quite busy as it's the day the antique stalls (shops) are open along with dealers in the street which is closed to cars, progressing to food, then various other used item dealers including lots of vintage clothing & accessories. There's plenty of charity shops along the way and I really enjoyed poking through them, too. This past Sept I ventured to Greenwich where there's a very old marketplace that features different things on different days--Saturday had lots of handmade items--quality stuff, including some really cool silver jewelry--as well as excellent street food offerings. I took the DLR there and the Thames Clipper to return to London, quite spectacular to see the city and landmarks arriving via boat.

Besides Portobello try Camden Lock and Spitafields markets. Go early to all of them or join the hordes.

I find the markets all tend to different tastes. Portobello Road is history and antiques. Borough Market is food. Brixton Market has a Jamaican vibe. Petticoat Lane is vintage clothes. Brick Lane is cool if you like Bengali food. If you're not sure what you are looking for Camden Lock Market has almost everything.
